Anniversary Date

Saturday morning, all three of us went out for an anniversary breakfast. 

Saturday night, just the adults went out... :-)

We pull into the Home Depot parking lot and I have no idea what's happening... I had already guessed dinner at Tilted Kilt & Taco Bell. 

"Oh ye of little faith," he said. "We, my dear, are recreating some of our first dates."

"What?! I love that!!" I said.

"Now, let's go buy some chains."

Chains at Home Depot. Laser Rifle Range at Cabela's (in lieu of the range at Bass Pro). Dinner at  Chili's. And duck pin bowling at Fun Squared on the turnpike. .... AND I gave him a run for his money at bowling...even beat him once. BAM.

A Bearded Man Picks Flowers

In the spring/summer... my bearded man picks me flowers.

Elijah has learned to do the same thing. Whenever he sees flowers, he wants to pick one. Sometimes they get to Mommy.

"Apple... Tree"
I wouldn't mind if my little apple fell close to this tree.... I wouldn't mind it one bit.

Best Boyfriend Ever took over Little Dude duty again last night. And of course LD was a sleeping angel. This morning... we were the happiest people alive. Any morning LD wakes up to his BD, we have the SMOOTHEST start to the day. He shovels in his eggs, Mommy's shower time is tear-free (oh how glorious), and he goes to daycare like it ain't no thang. ::happy sigh::
